学生部会のメンバーが中学生を対象に、地域貢献室の活動紹介を行いました。昨年末、学生が講師を務め実施した、小学生を対象とした医療福祉系の職業体験イベントの様子について分かりやすく説明していました。また、医療現場で使用されるパルスオキシメーター^＊を紹介し、参加者にも体験してもらいました。その後の質疑応答では、終始和やかな雰囲気で参加者からの質問を受け、回答していました。 ＊パルスオキシメーターとは：血液の酸素供給状態をリアルタイムで測定できる医療機器です。

Introduction of our activities to local junior high school students

Members of our student subcommittee introduced the activities of the Community Contribution Office to junior high school students. They gave easy-to-understand explanations of the medical welfare career experience event held for elementary school students at the end of last year, in which students served as lecturers. They also introduced a pulse oximeter* used in medical settings and had the participants try their hand at it. During the Q&A session that followed, the students answered questions from the participants in a relaxed atmosphere.

*About Pulse Oximeter: It is a medical device to measure the oxygen supply in blood in real-time.
